That's his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart. A male who is able to advise out his homesickness, he has to be a gentleman who likes home, wants about home, has duty of home. He waited now every day for the pupa to develop and fly abt similar to a gorgeous butterfly, but Alas that never happened the larvae pupa had a oversized head with kept crawling along in the pot for the full 4 to 5 weeks and died!
Compromised the man went along to his botanist friend and requested the reason.
His partner explained to him the struggle to get out of the egg helps the larvae to send bloodstream to its wings along with the head drive helps the head to remain smaller meaning the tender wings can easily support it thru its 3 week life cycle, in his eagerness to help the male destroyed a lovely life!
